Initial Consult
You are taking an important step in your personal journey by seeking therapy.
Choosing a therapist is a crucial decision in this personal and intimate process. You want someone whom you not only feel comfortable and safe with but who also can understand your pain, concerns, or frustrations.
The first step is to schedule an initial free phone consultation to see if we are a good fit.
Next Steps
After we have decided we wish to work together, we will discuss scheduling and make an appointment. I will then send you paperwork to sign and complete and return to me before we meet. Then we can get started with our scheduled first session time.
Payment
I am an out of network provider. A superbill can be provided upon request to submit to insurances for reimbursement.
I provide “Out of Network” coverage for most insurance carriers such as:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO

Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions of your health insurance carrier:
- Do I need a referral from my primary care physician to a mental health professional who is out-of-network?
- What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider?
- Are there dollar limits, visit limits, or other coverage limits for my mental health benefits?

Payment: All major credit cards accepted for payment. Some clients are able to also use flexible spending accounts.
Cancellation Policy: If you miss your scheduled therapy appointment, and have not given at least 48 hours notice in advance, you will be responsible for the full cost of the session. Insurance does not cover missed sessions. Allowances may be made for emergencies or sudden illnesses.
Good Faith Estimate/“No Surprises Act”
You have a right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers and facilities must provide individuals with an estimate of the cost of services to be provided.
I recognize that every client’s therapy journey is unique. How long you need to engage in therapy and how often you attend sessions will be influenced by many factors, such as:
- Your Schedule and Life Circumstances
- Therapist Availability
- Ongoing Life Challenges and How You Address Them
- Personal Finances
I look forward to connecting and discussing working together.
